Capturing your favourite LEGO sets and figures through the lens of coloured pencil realism

It was 2 years ago that I had a unique idea that would change my life...

...at the time, I had drawn a lot of cars BUT there was a problem

LOADS of people draw cars!

In order to differentiate my work, I combined my love for cars and drawing with my love for LEGO to create the world's 1st realistic drawing of a LEGO car

BINGO!

I enjoyed the process of creating it so much that it ignited a spark that has lead me to spend over 800 hours creating over 50 unique artworks of LEGO Minifigures, Cars, a spaceship and even a T-Rex

My artwork has "struck a cord" with the LEGO community

These drawings have now been seen by millions across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Tiktok gaining a total following of almost 200,000 people

From YouTube tutorials to hyperrealism (My 5 year transformation)

Early 2020

How it began...

During the Pandemic, I got a bit bored...

...I'd always enjoyed doodling so when I was 14, I started following simple tutorials on YouTube

I did A LOT of these...

Mid 2020

Moving to Realism

I started to become more interested in the "realistic" side of drawing

So grabbed myself some graphite pencils...

...and created this drawing of the Mandalorian

Late 2020

Commissions

My parents posted my work on Facebook...

one of their friends saw it and asked if I could do a couple of drawings for them!

(I obviously said yes)

Early 2021

Repetition

To say I was obsessed would be an understatement...

...I drew pretty much everyday and started to get more ambitious with the projects I took on!

Late 2021

Pet portraits

Having grown up with lots of animals, I know lots of other people who have animals

Throughout 2021, I created A LOT of custom pet portraits for people

2022

practice, practice, practice

I continued doing commissions and slowly refined my skills piece by piece!

It was at this point I was looking to expand my skills to a new subject matter...

2023

Cars

So I tried my hand at drawing cars...

...turns out I actually enjoy drawing them more than animals!

But there was a problem...

2024

Had an idea

loads of people draw cars BUT no one has ever drawn a LEGO car!

So I did

(This LEGO Bugatti Chiron is the very 1st LEGO drawing I created)

2025

LEGO drawings

Now spent 800+ hours drawing LEGO cars, Minifigures and even a LEGO T-Rex!

I also post regular YouTube videos in the hopes to inspire others just like I was inspired when I was 14
