As soon as LEGO bought out the new line of F1 speed champions, I knew I had to capture them down on paper...
...what better model to start with than the iconic cherry red Ferrari!
My goal was to create the illusion there is a giant version of the car stuck to the page.
This required over 30 hours of meticulously adding in every single groove, shadow and sticker (there are a lot of stickers on this model!)
The result is a piece that bridges the gap between pencil drawing and a photograph, pushing the boundary of what is possible with this medium
There is and will only ever be one original...

The drawing is signed in the bottom right hand corner alongside the day it was finished (2nd April 2025)
It also comes with a signed certificate of authenticity that is mounted to the back of the frame.
The certificate also states the exact materials that were used to create the piece.

This piece has a deep, custom frame that helps to further the artwork's depth and draw your gaze further into the piece
Finished with gallery grade art glass that is non-reflective and UV resistant (this ensures the colours remain as vibrant as the day the piece was completed)

These are the finest coloured pencils money can buy and I used them to create this drawing of the LEGO Ferrari F1 car
I use them on top of an alcohol marker base so the coloured pencils look EXTRA vibrant like actual LEGO pieces as they're going on top of an already coloured surface
